The Role

As a Strategic Account Executive at Knak, your primary focus will be on driving net new sales opportunities, acquiring new enterprise accounts and growing revenue in some of our most strategic accounts. You will play a pivotal role in executing our sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Leveraging your extensive network and sales expertise, you will introduce and promote Knak’s value proposition to senior executives in large enterprises.

Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition:

    • Execute sales strategies with a primary focus on generating net new sales opportunities.
    • Utilize your network of enterprise connections to introduce and sell Knak’s solutions to senior executives.

Market and Product Expertise:

    • Partner with internal stakeholders to become an expert in the marketing  and Knak’s platform.
    • Take a consultative approach with potential customers to qualify opportunities and showcase the business impact of Knak products.

Enterprise Environment Navigation:

    • Navigate complex enterprise environments to identify and capitalize on new business prospects.

Customer Understanding:

    • Gain a deep understanding of customer pain points and motivations to provide successful guidance and recommendations.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

    • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Executive team, utilizing data to drive a focused approach to sales strategy.

Maximize New Sales Opportunities:

    • Maximize sales into enterprise accounts with a keen focus on net new opportunities.
    • Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities within new accounts.

Professionalism and Autonomy:

    • Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness, precision, dependability, teamwork, and professionalism in customer interactions.
    • Work autonomously to meet and exceed assigned revenue targets and goals.

Industry Participation:

    • Participate in trade shows, conventions, and promotional events focused on generating new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

Experience:

    • 5-7+ years of Enterprise Software Sales experience, specializing in new business acquisition.
    • Proven track record in selling SaaS solutions to large enterprises.

Sales Skills:

    • Experience selling to senior executives in enterprise companies.
    • Strong planning, negotiation, and forecasting skills.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication.
    • Approaches work with empathy and a creative, problem-solving mindset.

Motivation and Initiative:

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
    • Extraordinary time and process management skills.

Technology Proficiency:

    • Experience using a CRM platform to manage accounts (preferably Salesforce, GainSight, etc).
