Strathcona Resources Ltd. We are actively seeking a Summer Student, Marketing Analyst to assist with a variety of tasks related to marketing, logistics and analytics. Reporting to the Manager, Rail and Risk Management the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team and gain valuable experience in the field of marketing and logistics. 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in marketing reporting and analysis.
  • Analyze, organize and maintain marketing and logistics data across various software platforms.
  • Assist with rail and truck scheduling.
  • Assist with ticket entry, analysis and reconciliation for rail and truck.
  • Perform general contract and file organization.
  • Support marketing group coverage where applicable.
  • Assist with new software testing and implementation.

Qualifications Include:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in business or another relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or Bloomberg would be considered an asset.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Work Schedule:

  • This is a temporary position available during the summer months, candidates must be available to work May to August 2025. The weekly schedule will consist of a five (5) day work week from Monday to Friday.
