We are seeking a Supervisor to Lead a small team to develop and implement project control systems and procedures for consistent use across TIS/Gas Transmission & Midstream in Canada and the US.

The Project Controls Supervisor will lead all aspects of and manage the project controls team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves developing and implementing project control systems, processes, and procedures to supervise and control project performance. The Project Controls Supervisor will work closely with project managers and TIS/GTM project support team to ensure consistency in reporting and provide accurate information to support efficient decision-making.

What you will do:

  • Monitor, control, and report on project performance, including cost and schedule.

  • Implement methodology for measuring metrics of additional project performance indicators for earned value, quality, risk management, and other project success factors.

  • Efficiently lead all aspects of the framework and compliance of reporting and presenting project status, including progress, risks, and issues.

  • Provide accurate and timely project information to Business Relationship Managers to support portfolio reporting and timely decision-making.

Who you are:

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project controls, with at least 3 years in a formal or informal supervisory role.

  • Solid understanding of project control systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Leadership and team management skills.

Physical requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, prioritize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, coordinate and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
