About this opportunity:

The Workplace team at Cenovus owns, delivers, and optimizes safe environments to enable Cenovus staff to perform their best work in Canada and the US. Reporting to the Team Lead, Workplace Operations, the Switchboard Administrator manages incoming calls to Cenovus providing callers with a productive experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency with operating the phone systems.

What you’ll do:

• Screen and answer multi-line switchboard (ARC system) telephone calls and connect callers to appropriate Cenovus parties

• Maintain and update switchboard tool with internal contact details for call routing

• Respond to emails from the Questions & Comments inbox

• Support emergency response and escalation of call routing

• Record daily volumes for switchboard, office supplies, and Questions & Comments inbox to support monthly reporting

• Utilize online ordering systems for office supplies and code and verify office supply invoices for payment

• Maintain contact lists, administrative lists, mail schedules, and SharePoint files

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Minimum of 2 years related work experience

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

• High regard for accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in a private environment as well as in a team

• Capacity to effectively handle and prioritize competing demands and work within deadlines
