Lumentum is looking for a System Software Engineer to participate in the development of software for a new suite of disruptive metrology products and participate in creating a lean and agile development culture.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work in a focused team to protype and deliver a networked solution.

  • Assist in the evolution of the solution.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Teamwork throughout the software and product verification cycle.

 

Qualifications:

  • People who get things done.

  • Understanding of Object-Oriented design and implementation using C++ and Linux/Windows.

  • Ability to deliver in a collaborative environment.

 

Assets:

  • Experience configuring and monitoring a complex system.

  • Experience with AI based coding tools.
