  • Apply and maintain security baselines for servers, databases, and cloud environments.
  • Coordinate vulnerability management and patching cycles.
  • Manage user and privileged access controls, including Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enforcement.
  • Support compliance audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2, CSOX, GDPR) by providing system-level evidence and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain SIEM dashboards, IDS/IPS configurations, and alerting rules.
  • Complete customer-facing cybersecurity questionnaires and support vendor security reviews.

Governance & Process:

  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, configuration records, and change logs.
  • Participate in tabletop exercises and incident response simulations.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and standards related to system hardening, patch management, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and risk teams on cyber risk management and audit readiness.

Requirements

Required:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in server and database administration in enterprise or mid-sized environments.
  • Proficient in Windows Server environments and cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure services: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL, including scripting and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience working with EDR/MDR, vulnerability management, and access control tools.
  • Exposure to compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, CSOX, GDPR) and audit preparation.
  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, VMware VCP, Certified Ethical Hacker).

Soft Skills:

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to assess complex systems and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled in resolving issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
