We’re seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Partner (6-month contract) based in Montreal to drive hiring efforts for our Go to Market & Operations teams. You will own the recruitment process from the time a role is approved until the new Lightspeeder has started, ensuring a great candidate experience while being a strategic partner to the Go to Market organization in North America. Sales recruitment experience is an essential requirement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage a full-cycle recruiting process from kick off, to offer acceptance, all the while ensuring the highest standards and a seamless and positive experience for both your internal stakeholder and the candidate.
  • Gather approvals, craft awesome job postings, and design fit-for-purpose interview processes in line with our recruitment framework.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and coach hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong and effective business relationships with hiring managers and senior management.
  • Collaborate with and share your expertise with other members of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Keep track of your hiring data and regularly draw insights to continuously improve our processes and strategy.
  • Champion diversity & inclusion best practices in all our hiring processes.
  • Responsible for engaging with and finding top talent (e.g. attend recruitment events, job boards, strategic sourcing initiatives, creating relationships with local schools, etc.). 
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of Lightspeed’s overall sourcing, recruitment hiring plan and objectives.

What you need to bring:

We're a global Talent Acquisition team of over 35 people. Our team is responsible for attracting top talent.

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end Sales recruitment, successfully hiring Sales Development roles such as Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives.
  • Successful experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels of the business.
  • Experience advocating for diversity of thought and collaborating with others to highlight its value.
  • Proven ability to source, sell and close candidates. 
  • Ability to work in a global and fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in French & English with excellent communication skills.
