Summary:

As an intern specializing in project and release management, you will support the Technical Project Manager (TPM) in managing a global portfolio of projects for our fraud detection SaaS products. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, and Release, to ensure the seamless and timely execution of projects. This includes driving features, bug fixes, and other deliverables to production. You will report directly to our Technical Project Manager.

This position is ideal for those who are majoring in Computer Science or Computer engineering, or related MBA with engineering background who would like to gain some hands-on experience on TPM.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with TPM to oversee project management of solution projects globally, utilizing standardized project management tools and methodologies
  • Participate in project scope definition, timeline planning and data integration discussions with customers to understand priorities and key deadlines of requested deliveries.
  • Coordinate and lead internal meetings to provide project updates and foster cross-team alignment.
  • Assist TPM for triaging on problems met, risks and failures, lead post mortem discussion and document Root Cause Analysis (RSA) reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the company’s latest products and enhancements. Work with the TPM to ensure project management tools and processes are effectively optimized and aligned with project needs.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Able to make six-month commitment
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese.
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate/master degree student in a technical or analytical discipline
  • Strong willingness to work in technical project management within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with or interest in technologies such as Kubernetes, Spark, Jenkins, Flink, HBase, Cassandra, or Kafka is a plus.
  • Previous experience working on or managing projects involving cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, or Ali Cloud is highly desirable.
