The Telecom Expense Analyst will support the increasing global network within Baker Hughes we are expanding our IPT team with an opportunity for a Telecom Expense Manager responsible to manage cost containment, customer satisfaction and contracts management. This includes also supporting technology roadmaps, prioritizing the expansion of our telecom expense management program in alignment to business requirements.

As Telecom Expense Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with DT finance BU and vendors to ensure invoicing and internal allocation.

  • Ensuring telecommunications invoices are properly received, entered into system of record, processed, allocated and paid in a timely manner.

  • Leading day-to-day program, including, liaising with third party providers and internal business leadership. 

  • Verifying business requirements; ensure compliance control documents are in place and up to date.  

  • Coordinating internal teams to ensure that all affected functional areas are aware of the business requirements and impacts as related to Telecom expenses and programs.

  • Maintaining business continuity throughout program lifecycle.

  • Establishing foundation for highly efficient TEM environment.

  • Ensuring compliance control procedures and documents are in place and up to date.

  • Providing program information to internal and external stakeholders as required.

  • Assisting sourcing with telecom contracts management from gathering business requirements and quotes, negotiating pricing, procuring and order fulfillment as required.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience

  • Have MS Office proficiency

  • Demonstrate familiarity with financial systems and processes (e.g. SAP, Oracle)

  • Possess basic understanding of telephony services and billing

  • Possess basic project management skills

  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and influence the future direction of the products / services that are supported

  • Self-motivated and passionate about learning new technologies

  • Ability to engage across business functions to complete critical programs

  • Knowledge and experience of working within an ITIL framework
