Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled UI Developer with expertise in React and Angular 10+, coupled with a strong foundation in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript libraries. The ideal candidate will have experience in Object-Oriented design, data structures, and design patterns, along with strong architectural design skills. A thorough understanding of responsive web design, source control (preferably Git), and Continuous Integration tools is essential. Additionally, knowledge of web application security, including attack vectors and protective measures, is crucial for this role
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Calgary, AB is CAD $115k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- UI Development: Design and implement user-friendly interfaces using React, Angular 10+, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript libraries.
- Architectural Design: Contribute to the architectural design for optimal performance and scalability of UI components.
- Code Quality: Write maintainable and efficient code following best practices in UI development.
- Team Collaboration: Work with UX/UI designers and backend developers to deliver cohesive applications.
- Responsive Design: Ensure applications are responsive across various devices and screen sizes.
- Source Control: Manage code using Git and participate in Continuous Integration processes.
- Security Awareness: Implement best practices to mitigate web application vulnerabilities.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance application performance for improved user experience.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for code and design decisions.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of React, Angular 10+, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript libraries
- Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
- Strong architectural design skills
- A thorough understanding of web technologies and web architectures including responsive design
- Source control (preferably Git), Continuous Integration tools
- Knowledge of internet attack vectors, protection mechanisms, web application vulnerabilities and their solutions
