About You

Reporting to the Director of Design & User Experience, you'll be joining a team guided by a seasoned leader renowned for pioneering innovation and fostering a culture of excellence. This is more than just a reporting relationship; it's an opportunity for mentorship and growth. Together, you will strategize, execute, and continuously refine our product design, ensuring that it not only meets but exceeds user expectations. By working closely with the Director, you'll be in the prime position to make significant contributions, influence decision-making, and shape the future direction of our design and user experience initiatives.

About our Stacks
Design:
Figma (Main design tool), Adobe Creative Suite, Maze (UX tool)
Engineering:
TypeScript, Next.js, React/Redux, Python, Django, PostgreSQL


What you'll do:

  • Create cutting edge experiences: Design UI and UX flows in Figma using the tool’s latest features. 
  • Systematize Creativity: Apply a methodical approach to design, cleverly reusing existing concepts while considering the engineering implications.
  • Be the Guardian of Design Integrity: Ensure every new product and feature rolls out in alignment with your designs, offering detailed feedback to engineering pre-launch.
  • Turn Data into working solutions: Harness data-driven insights to sculpt your designs, even if it involves complex analyses, user and A/B testing.
  • Unite and Conquer: Join forces with Developers, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Customer Success to educate, absorb and reflect the varied needs of our user groups.
  • Iterate & Innovate: Embrace feedback from stakeholders and data to continuously refine and reimagine your designs.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A portfolio that speaks volumes: Must showcase previous work that captures your design prowess.
  • Knowledge working with design systems: Proven ability to steer the improvement of a design system and orchestrate streamlined design processes.
  • Speed & precision: A nimble, iterative approach to product design without sacrificing quality.
  • An eye for the details: Exceptional attention to minutiae, paired with a relentless focus on quality.
  • Data-driven mindset: Concrete evidence of leveraging data to inform design decisions.
  • UX knowledge: Examples of working in a user experience driven environment.
