Vertical Lead, Commerce
As part of StackAdapt’s Vertical & Performance Solutions team, the Lead, Commerce Solutions will own the strategy, development, and execution of end-to-end commerce-focused solutions across StackAdapt’s programmatic advertising platform. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, go-to-market execution, and cross-functional delivery - translating commerce advertiser needs into scalable, revenue-driving solutions.
Reporting into senior Solutions leadership, you will lead initiatives that strengthen StackAdapt’s competitiveness in the commerce ecosystem, from retail media and commerce data integrations to measurement, optimization, and activation workflows. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Analytics, Partnerships, and Operations to bring new capabilities from concept to commercialization and adoption.
This is a highly visible role with both strategic ownership and hands-on leadership, ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building 0→1 solutions that scale.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead the strategy, development, and execution of commerce-focused solutions from concept through launch and adoption
- Translate commerce advertiser needs and market trends into scalable, revenue-driving platform solutions
- Own the cross-functional delivery of initiatives, partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, Analytics, and Operations
- Drive go-to-market readiness, including commercialization plans, enablement, and client-facing materials
- Act as a commerce subject matter expert for internal teams and key clients
- Monitor solution performance and adoption, using data and feedback to inform ongoing optimization and roadmap prioritization
- Build relationships with commerce and retail ecosystem partners to enhance StackAdapt’s commerce offerings
- 5–8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, product management, partnerships, program management, or digital advertising
- Experience leading cross-functional, strategically complex initiatives from concept to execution
- Strong business judgment with the ability to frame ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, and evaluate solutions using data
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL; experience with dashboards or experimentation frameworks is a plus)
- Clear and confident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior internal leaders and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of commerce media, retail media networks, DSPs, or programmatic advertising is highly desirable
The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.
This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
