Overview
- The Marketing Lead South LAC currently holds the divisional role over 11 markets, with a responsibility to boost business strategies through Marketing and Comms Strategies.
- With a fast-growing activity and need for growth in key markets, the Marketing leads the strategic agenda for acceptance, affluent products, cash conversion, and other key strategies in the rapidly growing business for the region.
- The Marketing lead has 14 direct reports + 5 contingent workers, reporting into the Divisional VP and dotted to the Regional Marketing EVP
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Sets local Marketing strategies, including advertising, promotions, sponsorships, market research, etc., to align with business priorities and deliver against company objectives • Initiates and leads projects on behalf of several countries, including e own country, balancing the thneeds of stakeholders, managing multiple work streams, and overseeing the planning and budgeting process • Makes decisions and adjustments based on the results of program performance measurement and evaluation • Provides direction to MasterCard marketing staff or agency staff on the design/development of promotional marketing materials, including print, electronic, direct mail, and call center promotions • Accountable for the local Marketing budget and ensuring that all campaigns, programs, and activities are within the allocated budget • Supervises several groups/teams, ensures compliance with goal setting and performance appraisal processes, coaches and develops employees as an organizational resource
All About You• Experience in a leadership role with overall responsibility for multiple markets• Experience in commercial leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment• Experience as a leader with responsibility in other functional areas in Marketing and Comms• Experience in creating long-range and compelling strategies to achieve market growth and success• Experience in creating and executing innovative solutions to customers' business challenges to enable business opportunities• Proven ability to foster connections and develop relationships with customers and internal stakeholders• Proven success in leading and inspiring teams on a multi-functional basis• Proven success in hiring and developing talent, and building collaborative, inclusive environments
