The VP of Data Consulting at N-iX develops and executes the data consulting strategy, leading a high-performing team to deliver data solutions for Fortune 500 clients. This role involves collaboration across multiple teams, enhancement of offerings, mentorship, and P&L management.

Currently, N-iX seeks a dynamic VP of Data Consulting to join our CTO Office. This pivotal role combines technical consulting with team leadership, ensuring our team's capability to handle diverse data projects for Fortune 500 clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Data Consulting GTM strategy, focusing on data services and data consulting offering (data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, data governance, data strategy, data reporting and analytics, etc)
- Scale and manage a high-performing team of data architects, business analysts and engineers to deliver advanced data solutions to various clients
- Drive team activities, including marketing lead generation, technical pre-sales, project estimation, and short- and long-term technical consulting and implementation projects
- Collaborate with Solutions & Cloud Team, AI/Gen AI Consulting Team, UX/UI Consulting Team, Security Team on joint offerings, pre-sales and implementation activities
- Collaborate with marketing, engagement, delivery, partnerships, client management, and other internal teams for new client acquisition, successful solution delivery, and up-sales on existing accounts
- Be prepared for occasional travel for conferences, client workshops, discovery phases, pre-sales activities, and lead-generation events like conferences, round tables, etc.
- Continuously enhance our Data and Analytics Consulting offerings, staying abreast of market needs and modern data trends
- Provide mentorship and technology education to the Data Team and broader organization
- P&L and budget ownership with corresponding KPI’s (team utilization, revenue, profit, win rate, attrition).
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of extensive experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Consulting
- 3+ years of Technology Management experience
- Experience and deep knowledge in technology consulting business
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Proven success in implementing data projects of different complexity, as a consultant, manager and/or individual contributor
- Experience with consulting on data projects and working with diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in data engineering, enterprise data architecture, and cloud data platforms (AWS is a big plus, GCP, Azure is good as well)
- Proficiency in big data technologies, data governance, data warehouses, data lakes, ETL, BI, and analytics
- Familiarity with modern data trends like Data Mesh and Data Monetization.
- Experience with AI/ML/CV/GenAI is a plus.
