Job Summary

As the Vice President of Marketing, you will own and drive the development of comprehensive marketing strategies that support the company’s long-term vision and revenue objectives. In this leadership role, you will build and oversee a full spectrum of marketing functions—including event marketing, product marketing, and content—to elevate our brand and expand market share. Your extensive experience in industrial software, construction software, utilities, or a closely related sector will be critical in effectively positioning our solutions and fueling market adoption.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership
    • Develop and own the overall marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s business objectives and sales targets.
    • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine positioning and messaging.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
    • Develop and execute a high-impact ABM strategy to engage and convert key enterprise or strategic accounts.
    • Collaborate closely with sales to identify and prioritize target accounts, tailoring marketing efforts to specific personas and decision-makers.
    • Oversee the creation of personalized campaigns, content, and outreach programs designed to deepen relationships at each stage of the buyer’s journey.
  • Event Marketing & Partnerships
    • Direct and manage the planning, execution, and post-analysis of all event marketing initiatives, including conferences, trade shows, user groups, and webinars.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, customer success) to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and goals of events.
    • Evaluate event ROI and identify opportunities to optimize future participation, sponsorships, and partnerships for maximum impact.
  • Product Marketing, Positioning, & Sales Enablement
    • Collaborate with product management and sales to craft compelling value propositions, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
    • Develop and maintain buyer personas, use cases, and competitive analyses to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership
    • Enhance brand visibility through PR, analyst relations, social media, speaking engagements and content marketing initiatives.

Who you are

  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 3+ years in vertical software/industrial software including utilities, construction, field service management, work management, construction, etc. 
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple marketing functions acting as a player/coach.
  • Proven track record of driving marketing strategies and multiple functions
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking
    • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate company objectives into actionable marketing plans.
  • Leadership & Communication
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Adept at collaborating cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders, and driving organizational alignment.
  • Result-Oriented Approach
    • Track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and revenue targets.
    • Comfortable managing budgets, timelines, and team resources in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
