With over 30,000 customers, including a third of Fortune 500 companies, Tempo is trusted by organizations across the globe to make their workflows work better.

We create a suite of integrated solutions for time management, resource planning, budget management, roadmapping, program management, reporting and more. We create the tech that enables the modern team to deliver – for every step from first vision to value.

Since our beginning in 2007 as a project to make a time-tracking tool to help a client – Tempo has expanded to become the #1 time management add-on for Jira, and we have developed and acquired a multitude of tools to become one of the most trusted names in the Atlassian ecosystem.

We want everyone to work better – but we also want to be a tech company with a heart. Join us as we continuously innovate our award-winning products, create new solutions, and help the world work smarter, not harder.

About the role:

Tempo is at a pivotal moment of evolution. We are moving beyond our heritage as a collection of best-in-class Atlassian Marketplace applications to build a unified Adaptive Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Platform that helps organizations plan, adapt, and deliver at scale.

We are seeking a VP of Product to own the business of this platform. This is a role for a commercial strategist and a product visionary, overseeing the 0-1 commercialization of our new platform capabilities, driving product-market fit, and coordinating with Product leadership to ensure our diverse portfolio of embedded applications aligns seamlessly with our new platform architecture. You will guide the strategic direction of our platform investment, defining how we monetize, how we integrate, and how we scale.

What you’ll do:

  • Commercial Strategy & 0-1 Execution: Lead the commercialization of new platform modules. You will validate product-market fit, define pricing and packaging strategies in partnership with marketing, and drive the transition from "early access" to mass adoption.

  • Platform & Ecosystem Vision: Leverage our current market-leading position within the Atlassian ecosystem to define and execute a multi-ecosystem expansion strategy for our platform. You will guide teams to generalize our frameworks, moving beyond exclusive Jira dependencies to support integrations with other work management systems.

  • Orchestrate Shared Services: Coordinate to effectively leverage horizontal teams (Growth, Design, and UX Research) to support the platform vision and drive acquisition, retention, and usability.

  • Drive "Connective Tissue": Ensure continuity between the established Atlassian Marketplace apps and the new platform to support the collective suite of capabilities.

  • Leadership & Scale: Build and mentor a high-performing product organization. You will create a culture of commercial accountability and data-led decision making, ensuring PMs understand the business impact of their roadmaps.

Who you are:

  • 12+ years of Product Management experience, with significant time spent in leadership roles (VP/Senior Director) within B2B SaaS.

  • Platform Experience: You have a track record of building solutions, not just features. You understand one-to-many leverage, shared services, and ecosystem integrations.

  • Commercial Mindset: You excel at the business side of product: go-to-market strategy, pricing, and ROI analysis.

  • Change Management: Experience guiding teams and products through significant architectural and strategic pivots.

  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage matrixed resources to deliver unified outcomes.

Why Join Tempo?

  • Impact: Work on meaningful products that empower enterprise users and improve productivity.

  • Innovation: Be part of a culture that values creativity and innovation, with opportunities to make a real impact.

  • Collaboration: Join a supportive, collaborative UX team that values openness, communication, and a continuous learning environment.

  • Growth: Opportunities for professional development, including conferences, courses, and mentorship.
