ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking individuals with experience as a Workday Financial Admin for immediate opportunities.
ROLE:  Workday Financial Admin
Qualifications:

Mandatory Prior Experience

  • Experience working with Workday Financial in a senior role including experience overseeing configuration, upgrades, integrations, security, business processes, maintenance and optimisation of Workday Financials.
  • Experience managing user access, security roles and permissions within Workday and ensuring data integrity and compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policies
  • Experience monitoring license usage and budgeting for licensing costs
  • Experience developing and producing reports and dashboards using Workday Financial reporting tools to meet stakeholder needs
  • Experience working as a Workday subject matter expert (SME) and leading the strategic direction of Workday across all modules including Cash management, Financial statement analysis, Revenue recognition, General ledger, Fixed assets, Financial accounting, Project based accounting, Expenses, Financial planning, Inventory, Procurement, Accounts payable and receivable
  • Experience developing and maintaining a Workday Financial roadmap detailing all areas for improvement across the organization including planning and overseeing all Workday improvement initiatives
  • Experience engaging with cross functional teams to understand their financial information system needs and assisting with the streamlining of processes, implementation of best practices, and resolving issues related to Workday Financial functionality
  • Experience providing operational support for Cash management, Financial statement analysis, Revenue recognition, General ledger, Fixed assets, Financial accounting, Project based accounting, Expenses, Financial planning, Inventory, Procurement, Accounts payable and receivable
  • Experience overseeing training and development initiatives which heighten adoption of Workday Financial across the organization
  • Experience providing technical guidance and support to technical teams
  • Experience providing collaborative oversight on solution design and delivery
  • Experience working with both agile and traditional (waterfall) project delivery methodologies
  • Experience working as a Workday Financial administrator or consultant with a deep understanding of the Workday Financial environment
  • Ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in computer science, or other applicable degree and at least 5 years of related experience (or equivalent)
  • Ideal candidate will have a finance degree, diploma or designation


Mandatory Skills

  • Must have strong technical skills in areas such as data management and integrity, integrations, reporting, security business processes and system administration within Workday Financial
  • Ability to analyze business needs, define technical solutions and to design comprehensive implementation plans
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands
  • Have a clear understanding of IT security vulnerability requirements and disciplines
  • Must possess a clear understanding of IT security Vulnerability Detection Solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex security vulnerability issues in an effective manner to all levels of the organization including senior leaders, technical staff, frontline staff, etc.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and contribute to the removal of team impediments
  • Ability to collaborate closely with various project teams such as developers, project managers, and analysts, to ensure effective implementation of solutions that achieve organisational objectives
  • Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Ability to demonstrate conceptual thinking
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, leadership and consulting skills
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and other IT professional to create cohesive and efficient solutions that meets the needs of the business
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to operate with little supervision in fast paced and complex environments
  • Ability to facilitate and support discussions with multi-disciplinary stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate and build strong relationships in a large, complex multi-enterprise environment that includes customers with difficult and / or competing needs
  • Experience working with both agile and traditional (waterfall) project delivery methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of Agile principles and practices


Desirable Experience

  • Crown corporation, or regulated utility experience
  • Experience working with business and technical projects with an agile mindset


Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work on project, program and organisational strategies
  • Strong MS Office capabilities including Visio
  • Bachelor or master degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
