Promise Robotics is establishing its flagship robotic homebuilding facility in its headquarters city, Calgary. The company is working to increase housing affordability; due to Canada’s historical reliance on imports to advance homebuilding, Promise Robotics aims to fill the housing demand gap that traditional construction hasn’t been able to close.

Located at 11575 Stonehill Drive NE, the facility has more than 60,000 square feet of deployment space and can produce prefabricated homes within a few weeks. Promise Robotics’ new facility is designed to help Canada build out its industrial ecosystem, creating more opportunities for the homebuilding industry to leverage robotics and automation to develop homes faster and more efficiently.

“We are helping to unlock the housing supply the province urgently needs — not with small pilots, but with real, industrial-scale solutions that empower builders to do more with less.” Ramtin Attar, Promise Robotics CEO and co-founder, said in a statement. “Our facility will help simplify the complexity of automation by enabling builders across Canada and the U.S.”
