Lead and manage the Design Department, overseeing personnel, resource planning, workflow, quality assurance, customer support, and technical development. Monitor metrics, optimize processes, mentor designers and managers, coordinate cross-functionally, oversee design software and documentation, and perform design work as needed to meet production schedules and customer commitments.

Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance; oversee general ledger, cost and inventory accounting, monthly/annual close, internal controls, treasury, tax, audit, and banking. Partner with the CFO and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, M&A and financing support. Lead and develop the accounting team and collaborate with operations to improve financial and operational metrics.

Prepare truss layouts and shop drawings from architectural and structural plans, ensure compliance with codes and customer requirements, optimize designs for efficiency and profitability, assist bidding/estimating, mentor junior designers, meet with customers, and update internal procedures and documentation as needed.
