Develop and execute strategic external communications and stakeholder engagement for Alberta’s electricity system. Produce and edit clear materials (briefings, speeches, web/digital content), support media and crisis communications, monitor policy and regulatory developments, advise senior leaders, manage issues tracking, and build relationships with industry, government and media to protect AESO reputation.

The Senior Market Design Analyst will engage stakeholders, assess market design alternatives, and communicate options to shape Alberta's electricity market while leveraging expertise in economics or engineering.

The role involves managing updates to the EMS model, troubleshooting real-time power system issues, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations in Alberta's electricity sector.
