Provides legal and regulatory advice to AESO business departments, focusing on Alberta electricity regulation. Responsibilities include drafting ISO rules and reliability standards, reviewing NERC standards, supporting stakeholder consultations and AUC proceedings, researching legal issues, advising on regulatory processes, managing external counsel, and contributing to strategic initiatives. The role requires an LL.B. or J.D., Alberta Law Society membership or eligibility, and 1–3 years of legal experience.

Supports enterprise transformation initiatives through operational readiness coordination, governance, risk and dependency tracking, business analysis, stakeholder alignment, executive communications, and future-state business design. Facilitates cross-functional workshops, develops leadership materials, and translates complex business challenges into actionable recommendations. The role works across business units in a hybrid environment and requires strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
