Leads Marketing and Consumer Privacy Engineering teams, developing engineers and establishing a shared operating model. Translates business and product priorities into engineering plans across logged-out web, experimentation, marketing integrations, attribution, measurement, consent, privacy experiences, and consumer data collection. Partners with Product, Marketing, Privacy, Legal, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, privacy-aware systems while balancing customer needs, quality, speed, and risk.

Lead backend engineering work for Affirm’s lakehouse infrastructure, delivering reliable, scalable distributed data systems. Own quarterly goals, guide engineers through ambiguous problems, collaborate with product and analytics stakeholders, improve technical standards, monitor system availability, support on-call operations, and mentor team members. The role focuses on large-scale data platforms and technologies including Iceberg, Flink, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Provide high-touch technical and operational support to merchant partners using Affirm. Troubleshoot complex account, configuration, and platform issues; coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Client Success, and Operations; manage multiple inquiries; develop scalable support processes; communicate product updates; and aggregate merchant feedback to inform product planning.
