Plans, coordinates, and delivers resident-centered recreation and leisure programs for seniors. The role supports resident assessments, documents participation and program outcomes, builds relationships with residents and families, facilitates events and outings, assists with transportation, and supports meal service and other resident routines. Strong communication, compassion, teamwork, Microsoft Office proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and a recreation-related diploma are required.

Performs reception and clerical duties in a long-term care business office. Maintains files, records, correspondence, forms, and reports; receives and distributes mail; answers phones; greets visitors; responds to routine inquiries; relays calls and messages; supports a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

The Recreation Aide is responsible for planning and implementing recreation therapy programs, maintaining records, communicating with residents and families, and facilitating outings for seniors.

The Receptionist responds to calls, greets visitors, sorts mail, manages meeting room schedules, and maintains the reception area, supporting overall administrative functions.
