The Sr Substation Engineer will manage lifecycle maintenance engineering for substation equipment, leading assessments and improvement initiatives to optimize performance and reliability.

The Substation Technologist operates, inspects, and maintains substation equipment, assists with planning and implementation, and ensures safety standards are met while mentoring junior employees.

Support analysis, modeling, implementation, and administration of compensation programs. Maintain market pricing, run benchmarking, prepare reports and dashboards, administer salary and incentive processes, ensure data integrity, support HR partners, and assist with policy compliance and program implementations.

Lead transmission line design and project engineering from scoping through close-out for capital, customer, rebuild and emergency projects. Prepare PLS-CADD models, design packages, studies and BOMs; resolve field/design issues; coordinate with PMs, designers, EPCs, procurement and construction; support standards, mentoring and technical governance.

Lead customer transmission projects from request through AUC permitting. Manage multi-disciplinary project teams, budgets, schedules, risks, consultants and EPC contractors. Deliver connection/service proposals and facility applications, interface with AESO and stakeholders, transition projects to delivery, and provide exceptional customer service.
