Provide operational meteorological forecasting, weather intelligence, and decision support for wildfire mitigation, field operations, and a 24/7 control centre. Own weather tools, models, station network, and wildfire detection cameras; interpret fire weather risk and deliver clear operational guidance, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes and situational awareness.

Leads commercial and technical development initiatives involving emerging technologies, data centres, large loads, customer projects, and third-party agreements. Conducts feasibility assessments, cost estimates, risk evaluations, business cases, funding applications, and implementation planning. Administers the Market Participant Choice process, coordinates cross-functional teams, supports negotiations and regulatory initiatives, and presents recommendations to executives, customers, government stakeholders, and market participants.

The Senior Compliance Engineer will support the Compliance team to ensure adherence to Alberta Reliability Standards, manage compliance assessments, and lead investigations into non-compliance events.
