Maintains and optimizes client network environments, including firewalls, routing, switching, monitoring, incident resolution, upgrades, and technical documentation. Acts as the client technical SME and advocate, coordinates with vendors and stakeholders, recommends improvements, supports projects, and maintains service levels. Requires onsite work in downtown Calgary at least four days weekly, participation in on-call rotations, occasional overtime, and minimal travel.

Designs architectures, standards, capacity plans, and implementation-ready documentation for telecommunications and corporate networks. Develops solutions spanning IP/MPLS, broadband access, transport, voice, video, LAN, and WLAN environments. Creates bills of material and cost estimates, supports lifecycle planning and technology evaluations, maintains network records, and collaborates with engineering, operations, vendors, and project teams during deployments. The role also reviews implementation results, supports troubleshooting, and contributes to network roadmaps and modernization initiatives.

Designs, implements, and governs enterprise network architectures across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, data center, cloud, and hybrid environments. Provides technical leadership for complex projects, client consulting, architecture reviews, security and resiliency initiatives, and network modernization. Develops standards and roadmaps, supports pre-sales, optimizes network performance, leads strategic initiatives, and mentors network engineers.
