Supports preconstruction leadership across design, estimating, constructability, and construction planning. Reviews drawings and specifications, develops construction management plans, coordinates design-assist teams, conducts site assessments, prepares schedules and cost estimates, supports trade procurement and construction technology implementation, and maintains project budgets and quality standards. The role also contributes to proposals, business development, staff mentoring, and construction management support for commercial, industrial, and civil projects.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, establishing standards, training teams, managing stakeholders, resolving project challenges, advising public and private sector clients, maintaining client relationships, supporting business development, and contributing to recruitment and performance management. The role also drives growth of the project controls service business and ensures project delivery, client satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals.

Lead preconstruction activities for commercial, industrial, civil, and building projects. Evaluate designs, constructability, costs, schedules, logistics, sequencing, and risks; develop construction management plans; coordinate owners, architects, engineers, trades, and consultants; support procurement, project controls, site assessments, business development, and client delivery. Provide construction management expertise, maintain budgets and quality standards, and mentor staff using construction technology platforms.

Provides client advisory and facilitation services for Integrated Project Delivery, Lean Project Delivery, Progressive Design Build, and Alliance projects. Supports readiness assessments, business cases, procurement strategies, workshops, team onboarding, validation, design, construction, commissioning, and continuous improvement. Coaches project teams and junior advisors, manages stakeholder relationships, and travels to project locations as needed.

Lead complex capital and building projects across Alberta from initiation through completion. Manage client relationships, stakeholders, project teams, schedules, budgets, contracts, change management, documentation, meetings, and project reporting. Ensure projects meet client expectations, quality standards, timelines, and financial targets while coordinating consultants and resolving issues. Support business development and deliver facilities that benefit communities.

Leads transit-sector growth, strategic account management, consultative sales, market strategy, and complex project pursuits. Develops multi-year growth plans, expands client relationships, guides proposal and pursuit efforts, builds sector expertise, strengthens brand presence, coaches teams, and drives quality and operational excellence across a matrix organization.
