Independently manage a portfolio of civil and insurance litigation matters from assignment through resolution or trial. Represent the company in court, mediations, examinations, and appeals; develop litigation strategies; negotiate settlements; engage experts and vendors; advise Claims on legal strategy and policy; and supervise support staff.

Lead and manage corporate partnerships across Sonnet and Petline, driving new distribution launches, partner retention, and P&L accountability. Collaborate cross-functionally to onboard and enable partners, optimize partner value, and recommend growth or exit strategies while ensuring financial performance and operational improvements.

Manage complex Commercial General Liability (GL) and ABI claims end-to-end, including multinational and specialty losses. Investigate, evaluate liability and damages, set reserves, negotiate settlements, manage litigation and outside counsel, pursue recoveries, and coordinate with underwriting, reinsurance, actuary, and senior leadership. Mentor junior staff, ensure file quality and timely communication, and support claims capability transformation for new markets and specialty lines.

Entry-level underwriting assistant who processes commercial business requests from a service queue, performs data entry into policy systems, orders reports, supports underwriters and technical processing teams, meets SLAs and quality targets, and provides customer service and general office support.

Evaluate, estimate, negotiate and settle property catastrophe claims; travel to loss sites across Canada; write estimates using Xactimate/Xactanalysis; document claims, interpret policy, identify subrogation, manage vendors and experts, apply building code knowledge, and support regional adjusting and national appraisal functions.

Lead legal management of Financial Lines claims (cyber, D&O, EPL, fidelity, professional liability). Perform coverage analysis, investigations, negotiations, settlements, manage outside counsel and recoveries, draft legal documents and reports, advise underwriters, and prepare reference materials for claims and underwriting teams.

Manage complex and commercial automobile physical damage claims, explain claim processes, interpret policy coverage, investigate claims, collaborate with brokers, vendors and fraud investigators, process payments, initiate salvage and subrogation, maintain detailed files, and meet annual and monthly file disposition targets.
