Design and develop liquid cooling products for high-performance electronics, including cold plates, manifolds, and modular assemblies. Lead development from concept through production by creating CAD models and drawings, conducting thermal, fluid, and structural analyses, building prototypes, testing designs, investigating root causes, and supporting validation and manufacturing release. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, testing, and customer-facing teams to optimize performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.

Designs and models mechanical components and assemblies for coolant distribution units using SolidWorks. Creates engineering drawings and documentation, supports design reviews, component selection, supplier qualification, prototyping, testing, and engineering change management. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and industry partners to optimize thermal, hydraulic, mechanical, manufacturability, quality, and cost performance. The role is hybrid in Calgary and requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Conduct validation and qualification testing for passive cold plate loops, rack manifolds, and liquid cooling hardware. Assemble test systems, instrumentation, plumbing, sensors, and data acquisition equipment; perform thermal, pressure, flow, leak, and functional tests; analyze results; troubleshoot equipment; support root cause investigations; maintain calibrated lab equipment; document findings; and improve laboratory test methods and processes.
