Assess mortality and financial risks for individual life insurance applications using medical, lifestyle, and financial information. Collaborate and negotiate with reinsurers, advisors, and internal stakeholders on complex cases, provide technical coaching to underwriters, and lead continuous-improvement projects. Maintain accurate, timely underwriting decisions, consult medical directors, support professional development, and meet quality and continuing-education standards.

Manage end-to-end Group Benefits client onboarding and implementation from initial sale through plan installation and stabilization. Serve as the primary client and advisor contact, translate requirements into internal systems, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and risks, resolve exceptions, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance. Support complex implementations, finalist presentations, onboarding sessions, process improvements, and implementation performance targets.

Leads underwriting innovation by auditing rules engines and predictive analytics, improving application questions and risk solutions, prioritizing system enhancements, and supporting cross-functional projects. Provides expertise in medical, financial, and non-medical underwriting, ensures regulatory and reinsurance compliance, analyzes data, recommends partnerships, and communicates findings to senior management. The role is fully remote with occasional office attendance as needed.
