Owns the specification, evaluation, integration, testing, and fleet support of rotating equipment for behind-the-meter power generation. Responsibilities include engineering mechanical packages, defining vibration and alignment requirements, conducting factory and site acceptance testing, evaluating vendor performance, and root-causing field reliability issues. Preferred experience includes gas turbine or reciprocating engine package integration, API standards, condition monitoring, and power plant commissioning.

Design and validate thermofluids systems for large-scale AI data center cooling. Responsibilities include developing cycle models, selecting working fluids, designing heat exchangers and piping, sizing valves and relief systems, analyzing coupled thermal and fluid trades, and validating predictions against test-stand data. The role requires rigorous model calibration, honest reporting of discrepancies, and technical analysis that drives machine design decisions.

Own control architecture for rotating machinery and test rigs, including compressors, motor drives, expansion turbines, and thermofluid loops. Develop safety interlocks, fault handling, speed-based capacity control, and hardware-in-the-loop validation. Tune controls on live machines, investigate model-to-plant discrepancies, integrate production chillers with site BMS and plant systems, and document systems for operations teams.
