Lead design, development, and improvement of downhole/oilfield tools using 3D CAD and FEA. Produce technical drawings and documentation, manage project charters and design files, perform lab and field testing, advise manufacturing and quality control, and support assembly and inspection activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Lead Sustaining Engineer provides technical leadership for downhole tool lifecycle support, maintains engineering drawings and documentation, manages Enterprise PDM and configuration control, improves systems and processes, supports engineering change orders, and collaborates with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to ensure product integrity and scalability.

Drive sales of Variperm downhole sand control and flow control products by building and maintaining customer relationships, targeting new business, managing RFQ/RFP processes, providing market intelligence, coordinating with internal teams, meeting sales targets, and conducting occasional site visits.

Coordinate creation, distribution, and maintenance of internal and external work orders to support manufacturing. Liaise with Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing on scheduling, material availability, costing, and technical drawings to ensure on-time production and customer requirements. Maintain records, QMS compliance, and participate in safety and process improvements.

Partner with operations to promote safety culture, ensure OH&S compliance, conduct incident investigations, deliver training, perform inspections and audits, track corrective actions, maintain safety documentation and support continuous improvement at a Calgary manufacturing night shift.

Lead day-to-day full-cycle accounting including month/quarter/year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, payroll, tax and regulatory filings. Prepare management reports, OneStream reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and support audits while driving process improvements and policy implementation.
