Supports systems engineering for communication systems installed in ground combat vehicles and other mobile platforms. Elicit requirements from government customers, create system and operational views, maintain requirements traceability, support verification and validation testing, review test cases, produce compliance matrices, and present status updates to stakeholders. The role also involves owning technical deliverables, meeting milestones, and collaborating independently and within cross-functional teams.

Develop system requirements, interface specifications, operational models, mission scenarios, and information flows for a military system-of-systems program. Create MBSE diagrams, maintain requirements traceability, support verification and validation, write test cases, and produce VCRMs. Collaborate with the Department of National Defence and internal stakeholders, present reviews, and contribute to technical analysis and system engineering activities.

Develops and executes system integration, verification, and validation tests for complex defense systems. Responsibilities include creating test plans and procedures, automating tests, troubleshooting networks and software, investigating defects, and collaborating with engineering teams and military customers in lab and field environments using Agile practices.

Design and prototype GUIs and human‑machine interfaces for embedded military systems within interdisciplinary teams. Create requirements, design artifacts (low-to-high fidelity), assets for developers, and documentation following SAFe and development standards. Collaborate with developers, perform analysis, and support design testing. Obtain required security clearance and work effectively in team and independent settings.

Drive international sales of TacCIS products by translating technical capabilities into business value, supporting proposals and demos, capturing requirements, enabling BD, and acting as post-sale technical advocate. Collaborate with product, engineering, and partners, gather market intelligence, and support pricing and POCs to meet revenue targets.

Lead and mentor GUI and human-factors design for complex software and firmware on military embedded systems. Provide hands-on UX/HCI design, prototyping, usability testing, interface requirements, and design specifications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using SAFe, coach junior designers, and apply user-centred practices and AI/ML where appropriate.

Contribute systems and product-level design for LC5ISR-T, document requirements and interfaces, manage SPRs, support development and test, perform threat modeling and vulnerability assessments, design system security architecture to standards (NIST RMF, ITSG-33, DISA STIGs, FIPS), and author SA&A and security artifacts while collaborating with DND and stakeholders.
