Designs and manages CI/CD pipelines, cloud-agnostic infrastructure, containerized applications, monitoring, and automation across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments. The role uses Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, and scripting to improve delivery, reliability, security, scalability, and system availability. Responsibilities include infrastructure troubleshooting, network and virtualization management, tool integration, system hardening, software scripting, and automated testing. The position operates in a hybrid Calgary or Ottawa setting and requires eligibility for Canadian government security clearance.

Develops secure system architectures and cybersecurity controls for defense systems. Performs threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, security testing, exploitability analysis, and risk assessments. Creates security test procedures, system security plans, audit artifacts, and security reports while supporting SA&A activities and military security standards. The role also includes stakeholder engagement, technical validation, mentoring junior personnel, and vulnerability remediation tracking.

Leads quality assurance for aerospace and defense engineering projects, including QA planning, process and product audits, corrective actions, configuration and design reviews, test oversight, compliance reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement. The role interfaces with government and customer quality representatives and supports software and systems development in regulated environments.

Develop system requirements, interface specifications, models, use cases, and information flows for a Canadian Armed Forces C5ISR-T program. Apply MBSE techniques using DNDAF and UAF, maintain requirements traceability, support verification and validation activities, review test cases, produce VCRMs, and communicate status to internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires ownership of deliverables, milestone commitments, and collaboration with the Department of National Defence.

Develops system requirements, interface specifications, information flows, operational models, and traceability for Canadian Armed Forces C5ISR-T systems. Responsibilities include creating MBSE diagrams and system views, eliciting requirements from Department of National Defence stakeholders, supporting verification and validation, writing test cases, producing VCRMs, and presenting technical updates. The role also contributes to systems analysis, requirements management, and stakeholder reviews.

Develop and execute system integration, verification, and validation tests for complex defense systems in laboratory and field environments. Create test plans, procedures, automated test programs, and verification methods; troubleshoot networks, servers, radios, and software; investigate and resolve complex defects; and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers, and Agile program teams.

Join interdisciplinary teams to design and prototype GUIs and operator interfaces for embedded military systems. Create user interface requirements, low-to-high fidelity prototypes, design documents, and development assets while following SAFe and documenting analysis, design, and test activities. Collaborate with development teams and apply human factors and HCI principles; familiarity with AI/ML is a plus.

Provide technical leadership for GUI and human–computer interaction design on embedded military systems. Deliver hands-on prototypes and high-fidelity interfaces, mentor junior designers, create reusable design standards and specifications, integrate user-centred methods and usability testing within SAFe teams, and advise on appropriate AI/ML use in interfaces.

Perform systems and cybersecurity engineering for LC5ISR-T: design system/security architecture, author requirements and SA&A artifacts, conduct vulnerability assessments, support integration/test and SPR management, ensure compliance with NIST RMF/ITSG-33/DISA STIGs/FIPS, and collaborate with DND and program teams to improve resilience and deliver secure capabilities.

Drive international sales of Tactical Communication and Information Systems (TacCIS). Act as technical SME for business development, capture requirements, deliver demos/POCs, support proposals and pricing, collaborate cross-functionally, provide post-sale technical escalation, gather market intelligence, and foster long-term customer and partner relationships. Travel internationally for customer sites, trade shows, and conferences.
