The Staff Accountant manages daily accounts payable operations, including bill entry, purchase-order matching, coding, approvals, payment runs, vendor documentation, correspondence, and annual 1099 filing. The role also supports credit card and employee expense reporting, bank and credit card reconciliations, month-end general ledger close, audits, tax filings, and ad hoc accounting projects.

Provides fractional accounting and finance support to startup and emerging-growth clients. Responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, cash management, reconciliations, month-end close, tax support, fixed asset schedules, and financial reporting. The role collaborates with client senior management and requires strong accounting systems proficiency, organization, communication, and independent problem-solving skills.

Lead companywide FP&A processes: own P&L, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis. Partner with the CFO and cross-functional leaders to develop financial models, track operational metrics, support strategic initiatives (including M&A), and communicate insights to executive stakeholders to inform decision-making.
