The role is on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area and requires U.S. citizenship.

Own and improve 2D, 3D, and fusion-based image segmentation models for clinical ultrasound and CT analysis. Build training, evaluation, dataset, and labeling pipelines; collaborate with clinicians, contractors, and data teams; and productionize auditable, low-latency inference services with confidence scoring, drift monitoring, and safe fallbacks. Work under medical-device design controls and support robust modeling across diverse patient anatomy and imaging conditions.

Develop revolutionary quantum hardware technologies through experimental quantum physics research. Design, implement, and troubleshoot experiments involving laser-based optical measurements, optics, optoelectronics, photodetectors, optical fibers, and photonic technologies. The role requires delivering functional systems outside the laboratory, understanding signal and noise sources, inventing experimental tools and processes, and working onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area.
