Owns the month-end close, cost accounting, cash management, budgeting, financial reporting, audit preparation, and financial modeling for a pre-production fertilizer manufacturer. The role investigates budget variances, improves accounting processes, supports AP/AR and expense management, and provides ad hoc analysis to management while preparing the company for plant commissioning and commercial launch.

Leads monthly close, financial reporting, general ledger operations, technical accounting, audits, tax compliance, internal controls, and accounting process improvements. Oversees AP, AR, cash transactions, reconciliations, inventory, cost accounting, and capital project tracking. Partners across Operations, Engineering, finance leadership, auditors, and tax advisors while mentoring junior accounting staff and supporting budgeting and cash forecasting.
