Designs electrical systems for building projects, including calculations, code research, component layouts, specifications, drawings, and technical coordination. Evaluates site conditions, conducts surveys and field reviews, coordinates with architectural and engineering disciplines, and reviews products and shop drawings for code and quality compliance. Requires building electrical systems expertise, architectural and code knowledge, AutoCAD and Revit MEP proficiency, relevant post-secondary education, professional registration, and 4–7 years of project experience.
