Manage the company’s internal IT environment, including networks, servers, endpoints, cloud services, user access, asset inventory, business systems, vendors, and employee support. Lead cybersecurity compliance under CPCSC, CGP, DSC, and CSP requirements; maintain patching, endpoint protection, backups, disaster recovery, policies, and audit documentation. Establish and lead North Vector Dynamics’ manufacturing function, scaling CM-70 from prototypes to repeatable production. Build the pilot line, manufacturing organization, supply chain, quality systems, SOPs, and training programs. Lead first-time AS9100 certification, manage suppliers and cross-functional personnel, partner with engineering on manufacturability, and improve production KPIs including yield, cycle time, scrap, and delivery.

Lead development of mission software for a networked, multi-sensor air defence system. Own command and control, sensor and effector integration, engagement sequencing, architecture, verification, and validation. Build and manage the mission software team, establish engineering practices, and collaborate across systems engineering disciplines. The role requires C++ and Python expertise for real-time distributed systems, web-based mission interfaces, streaming sensor data, networking, and secure remote debugging. The position is on-site in Calgary and requires eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance.

Develop and maintain embedded Linux software for an unmanned flight and mission computer, including BSPs, kernel drivers, bootloaders, real-time components, and application software. Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication systems across ARM hardware. Build CI/CD and hardware-in-the-loop testing, debug with hardware tools, contribute to system architecture, and support bench and field testing of flight-critical electronics.

Conduct research on hypersonic technologies including physics-based analysis, vehicle design and optimization, and complex data analysis. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute innovative solutions, mentor junior researchers, and support educational activities.
