Manage execution of line pipe project orders including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, supplier invoice processing, cost tracking, documentation, and process improvements while liaising between Sales, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Works under general supervision to design, develop, deploy and support Microsoft .NET applications for production-critical manufacturing systems. Collaborates onsite with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other teams to integrate automation, SCADA/HMI and PLC communications. Lead asset reliability and maintenance initiatives at a Calgary manufacturing facility: develop and improve an Asset Management Plan, perform root cause analysis, implement predictive maintenance (thermography, ultrasonic, vibration), support capital projects, standardize equipment/spares, analyze failure data, train maintenance staff, and identify cost-reduction opportunities to improve uptime and reduce total cost of ownership.

Manage production planning and scheduling for OCTG and small diameter line pipe mills, coordinate demand/supply scenario planning, ensure on-time delivery and inventory targets, align raw material ordering with production, monitor KPIs and forecasts, facilitate cross-functional resolution, and report inventory and mill availability.

Lead design, deployment, and maintenance of Orion Steels enterprise Cisco network. Manage and mentor network engineers, install and troubleshoot routers/switches/firewalls, implement network security (Cisco Umbrella, ISE, IDS), collaborate with teams and vendors, produce documentation, and ensure network performance, availability, integrity, and security.

Lead regional recycling operations across multiple sites, driving safety, operational performance, P&L management, continuous improvement, budgeting, workforce development, and regulatory compliance to grow EBITDA and optimize material flow.

Inspect, repair, install, adjust and maintain mechanical equipment in a production environment. Diagnose defects, perform temporary or permanent repairs, align gears/bearings/shafts, collaborate on emergency breakdowns, and follow scheduled and emergency work instructions.

Deliver technical, operational, and safety training; lead new employee orientation; coordinate scheduling, attendance, and logistics; maintain training records and LMS; develop/update training materials; support LMS implementation and continuous improvement; partner with site leadership and Canadian Training team to monitor effectiveness and improve workforce competency.
