Manages SAGD site construction contracts from project setup through closeout. Oversees budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, change management, risk, quality, invoicing, reporting, client communications, audits, and project staff. Requires extensive industrial construction experience across civil, structural, mechanical/piping, or electrical scopes, including oil sands or gas plant contracts under time-and-material and lump-sum terms.

Fabricates and erects structural steel, ornamental work, and precast structures. Reads blueprints and specifications, positions and aligns steel, installs temporary bolts, performs rigging, directs crane operators, stacks materials, and safely operates grinders. Work may occur indoors or outdoors at heights in physically demanding industrial environments. Rigging certification, CSO, H2S Alive, and overhead crane and rigging qualifications are required. Apprentices from first through fourth year may apply.

Coordinates, prepares, and supports field-based health, safety, and environmental activities. Serves as a front-line resource to help implement the organization’s HSE management system and protect employees, the environment, and property from harm or damage.
