Supports audit engagements by understanding client businesses, accounting systems, controls, and industry requirements; assessing risks; testing internal controls and account balances; resolving reporting issues; and drafting financial statements. The intern develops proficiency with the firm’s audit methodology and tools while traveling to assigned client locations and collaborating with engagement teams.

Manages client engagements involving process risk assessments, internal audit planning, SOX and internal control reviews, control-gap remediation, process improvement, client reporting, engagement economics, team leadership, mentoring, and business development. Builds senior client relationships, oversees multiple projects and teams, reviews deliverables, leads closing meetings, and contributes to proposals and thought leadership.

Lead and perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests (internet, network, wireless, mobile, embedded, social engineering), identify and document findings, recommend remediations, present results to senior management, and supervise engagement staff while following security testing frameworks and legal/logistical testing processes.
