Own and evolve Samsara’s growth engineering platform, including secure CI/CD, AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, observability, security automation, disaster recovery, self-service tooling, and progressive delivery. Build AI-assisted SRE capabilities, ephemeral environments, and automated safeguards while contributing to customer-facing backend features. Mentor engineers and improve reliability, security, developer velocity, and operational efficiency across production systems.

Owns the three-statement financial model, monthly forecasting consolidation, long-range planning, executive and board reporting, and strategic financial analysis. Partners with Finance Systems and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning tools, forecast accuracy, and finance processes. Supports annual operating plans, financial reviews, ad hoc analysis, and AI-enabled finance systems development.

Monitor and analyze security events, lead incident response and employee investigations, conduct digital forensics, communicate findings to stakeholders, build investigation tools and automated workflows, and improve security operations processes. The role requires Python scripting, SIEM experience, cloud security knowledge across AWS and GCP, and forensic analysis across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
