The role requires executive-level relationship building, insurance industry expertise, strategic planning, negotiation, and regular travel throughout Canada of up to 40%.

Analyzes and adjudicates workers compensation claims, determines benefits, monitors reserves, manages claims action plans, coordinates return-to-work efforts, approves payments, handles subrogation, negotiates settlements, maintains accurate documentation, and communicates with claimants and clients. The role may also process complex medical claims, support quality programs, and travel as needed.

Analyze and manage complex workers' compensation claims from investigation through settlement. Determine benefits, calculate reserves and payments, negotiate settlements, manage litigation and subrogation, coordinate return-to-work and vendors, ensure regulatory filings and accurate claim documentation, and maintain client communications and service standards.
