Supports The Nature Conservancy’s international fisheries policy work through research, policy analysis, meeting coordination, stakeholder engagement, and preparation of presentations, memos, and advocacy materials. The role supports engagement with Regional Fisheries Management Organisations and electronic monitoring initiatives, develops relationships with governments, agencies, conservation organizations, and industry, and coordinates deliverables across multiple regions. International travel of at least 20% is required.

Develops and implements agriculture policy and government relations strategies across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Canada. Builds relationships with government, Indigenous, industry, producer, and nonprofit stakeholders; monitors policy and legislative developments; leads consultations, advocacy initiatives, policy positions, and briefing materials. Supports conservation priorities, sustainable agriculture, natural climate solutions, and public funding outcomes while ensuring lobbying compliance. The role may manage contractors, budgets, partnerships, and fundraising efforts, with 15–20% travel.

Coordinates GEF and GBFF funding pipelines, proposals, partner engagements, events, research, knowledge management, and cross-functional deliverables. Maintains CRM and project records, tracks deadlines and risks, prepares briefings and communications, supports government and multilateral relationships, and progressively owns defined projects. Requires collaboration across countries, cultures, and time zones, with occasional international travel.
