Responsibilities include firewall, routing, switching, wireless, cloud networking, connectivity, monitoring, incident resolution, infrastructure upgrades, vendor coordination, documentation, security controls, and mentoring. The role requires extensive Palo Alto Networks expertise plus Fortinet, Cisco, Azure, and enterprise infrastructure experience.

Leads complex cyber incident investigations, digital forensics, threat hunting, vulnerability management, penetration testing, security monitoring, and cloud security across hybrid environments. Oversees SOC and security vendors, manages Microsoft security platforms, coordinates awareness programs, develops risk and incident reporting, maintains security governance documentation, and communicates practical cyber-risk recommendations to technical teams and executives. The role is Calgary office-based five days weekly and may involve international travel and occasional after-hours support.
