Lead platform engineering for high-scale, multi-region AWS payment infrastructure. Architect immutable, highly available, self-healing systems; automate infrastructure through Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes; establish observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry; own incident management and resiliency improvements; design private connectivity; and mentor engineers while driving organization-wide platform standards.

Lead the architecture, scaling, reliability, and security of multi-region AWS infrastructure supporting high-throughput payment systems. Build immutable, self-healing environments with Terraform, Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and automated resiliency. Develop observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry; manage incidents and post-mortems; improve engineering velocity through Golden Paths and platform enablement; and mentor engineering teams on reliable infrastructure practices.

Provide hands-on technical support for payment tokenization integrations by debugging network, API, infrastructure, and downstream gateway issues. Own customer onboarding, escalations, incident and maintenance communications, status page updates, and cross-team coordination. Lead customer integrations from kickoff through go-live, create documentation and training, meet SLAs, and serve as the primary Support decision-maker during PT business hours. Participate in an every-third-weekend on-call rotation.

Leads VGS’s strategic partnerships across payments, commerce technology, card networks, cloud providers, AI platforms, wallets, and infrastructure partners. Responsibilities include managing a partnerships team, developing ecosystem and product strategies, negotiating complex commercial and technical agreements, coordinating cross-functional launches, building executive relationships, and translating market insights into product roadmap and growth opportunities. Requires deep payments ecosystem knowledge, strategic partnership experience, and the ability to connect technical capabilities with partner needs.

Design, build, and scale resilient distributed payment systems handling 1,000+ transactions per second. Collaborate with Product, Revenue Operations, Cloud Platform, and Security teams to shape product requirements and roadmaps. Lead AI-augmented software delivery, code reviews, testing, observability, performance optimization, incident response, on-call rotations, and root cause analysis while maintaining strict security, reliability, and low-latency standards.

Own the product strategy and delivery of network services, including card network and payment gateway integrations. Define unified APIs, webhook models, technical roadmaps, and feature specifications. Partner with engineering, security, UX, legal, and external networks from discovery through launch. Lead customer onboarding, documentation, integration support, and developer enablement. Track adoption, reliability, latency, error rates, integration cycle time, and SLA performance using SQL-driven analysis.

Develop and close enterprise sales opportunities for VGS payment tokenization solutions. Build relationships with executives, technical stakeholders, prospects, and channel partners; manage inbound and outbound activity across the full sales cycle; identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities; create strategic outreach plans; and collaborate with Product and Engineering on business strategy.

The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer will architect and maintain scalable infrastructure, lead incident management, improve operational processes, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead integrated financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic transaction evaluation to guide investments, financings, acquisitions, and long-range planning. Partner with executives, accounting, and operations to improve forecasting, capital-structure analysis, and investor/board materials. Drive faster, more accurate decision-support and scalable finance infrastructure in a high-growth payments business.
