Lead governance of accounting operations and vendor teams to ensure timely, accurate financial close, reconciliations, reporting, SOX compliance, and tax filings for Canadian entities. Monitor KPIs/SLAs, maintain documentation, evaluate accounting regulation impacts, support audits, drive process improvement and automation, and liaise with external tax advisors and consultants.
