The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Negotiating and closing large sales opportunities by presenting to individuals or to groups through use of persuasive verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding sales target while managing administrative and CRM responsibilities.
  • Solving complex problems with a positive attitude in a highly competitive environment.
  • Analyzing point of sale and market share data to understand where to spend time and resources.
  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with numerous people within different segments of the organization

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in healthcare 

AND

  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience working in healthcare setting
  • Developing and managing relationships with key clinical decision makers, including physicians, nurses, infectious disease specialists, and other specialists
  • Experience with Data Analytics is preferred
  • Knowledge/experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration with internal team members to provide best in-class customer support
  • Experience with MS office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Work location:

  • Remote/In Sales Territory of Edmonton, Alberta

Travel: 70% day travel within territory; 20% overnight travel

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
