We're hiring an Ad Designer to become the dedicated creative engine behind our Meta, Instagram, and social ad output. Today, ad turnaround runs through founders and the design lead directly — every cricket-sponsorship creative, every carousel, every quick test. We want that to change: someone who can own the full loop from "here's an insight" to "here are 10 variations live and being tested," in hours, not days.
This isn't a "make it look nice" role. It's for someone who thinks like a marketer first — who can sit inside Meta Ads Manager, form a real opinion about why an ad is or isn't working, and turn that opinion into the next creative before being asked.
- Design high-performing ad creative for Meta, Instagram, and other paid social channels — statics, carousels, and short-form video assets
- Take one working ad and rapidly produce 10+ variations (copy, colour, format, hook) to keep testing and scaling what performs
- Handle basic video clipping - repurposing raw founder/event/product footage into short-form social and ad-ready clips
- Live inside Meta Ads Manager: track performance, study competitors and industry trends, and use that data to decide what to design next
- Turn around carousels and quick-test creative in hours, not days - speed is part of the job, not a nice-to-have
- Partner directly with founders and the marketing/design team on messaging, testing hypotheses, and creative direction
- Own visual execution end-to-end, concept to shipped ad , without needing a designer to be looped in on every asset
- Build a reusable system of ad templates and winning formats so output scales without reinventing each brief
- You think like a marketer who designs, not a designer who makes ads look nice. You have a real opinion on what copy will land, what colours will work, what visual stops the scroll, and what makes a value prop instantly understandable.
- A portfolio or reel that shows live, shipped ad creative - ideally with a sense of what performed and why, not just concept work
- Strong graphic design fundamentals: layout, colour, typography, and an instinct for what gets attention on Meta/IG
- Comfort with basic video editing/clipping for short-form social and ad placements
- A bias for speed and iteration - you'd rather ship 10 variants of something that's already working today than polish one thing for a week
- Real experience close to performance advertising - you've run ad accounts yourself, or worked tightly enough with founders/marketers to understand what the data is telling you
- Ability to work quickly, communicate clearly over Slack, and overlap with US Pacific or European working hours
Strong plus: You've personally run or scaled an ad account, an Instagram page, or a creator/brand page from scratch — we'd rather see that than an agency résumé. We're also widening our aperture beyond typical SaaS design: backgrounds in luxury, fashion, entertainment, sports, hospitality, or agency work are all welcome. Portfolio beats pedigree.
