Core Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, greet visitors, and provide general office support.

  • Communicate with team members across departments to collect project updates and input.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across various systems and spreadsheets.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process and reporting improvements.
  • Provide administrative support for project meetings, including scheduling and minute-taking when required.

What you bring:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in administrative coordination, project administration, or data management.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Experience with project management or ERP tools (e.g. Clickup, CoreBQE, or similar) is considered an asset.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Post-secondary education in business, project management, administration, or a related field.

Who you are:

  • You are comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance.
  • You are hard-working, reliable, and you have open communication with your team.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you welcome challenges, rather than shy away from them.

Why Join Design Works Engineering:

  • Be part of a collaborative, innovative, and growing engineering firm.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits package, wellness program, and on-site gym.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Supportive team culture that values people as much as projects.
